 Welcome to The Notorious Sauce, where flavor meets passion! Founded in 2023 by Chef Max Decker, a proud Le Cordon Bleu alumnus, our journey began at the LA County Fair. It was there, alongside his fiancée Jasmine, a true hot sauce connoisseur, that the vision for an extraordinary hot sauce line took shape. After an inspiring visit to the Ghost Scream Hot Sauce booth owned by their friend Matt, Jasmine encouraged Max to create their own unique line. With that spark of inspiration, Max set out to craft what he envisioned as the "Louis Vuitton of Hot Sauce," blending stunning artwork with exotic flavor profiles.
Collaborating with the talented artist known as the "Pepper Picasso," Max poured his expert palate into every bottle, resulting in the birth of The Notorious Sauce. Our commitment to exceptional taste and striking design quickly gained recognition, culminating in a remarkable achievement at the Old Boney Hot Summer Nights Award Show in 2024. Competing against 575 entries from around the world, The Notorious Sauce proudly took home five awards, including "World's Favorite Hot Sauce of 2024" and "World's Favorite Label of 2024."
