Born and raised in the heart of sunny Southern California, just 25 miles from Los Angeles, The Notorious Sauce is a multi-award-winning hot sauce brand that burst onto the scene in 2023. Founded by Max Decker, a Le Cordon Bleu alumni and seasoned chef with over a decade of kitchen experience, our company represents a culinary passion that fuses exotic ingredients, eye-catching artwork, and clever themes into each vibrant bottle.
In 2024, The Notorious Sauce made a remarkable debut at "The Old Boney Hot Summer Nights Award Show." Competing against 575 companies from 20 countries, we clinched accolades that would set our brand apart in the hot sauce world. Max's creations were honored with the titles of World's Favorite Hot Sauce and World's Favorite Label, along with 1st place in the Mild Division and two additional 3rd place trophies. These achievements firmly established The Notorious Sauce as the 3rd ranked small batch hot sauce brand in the world.
